Brief

Sedona Crystal Vortex came to us with one goal. Build an ecommerce experience that would launch them to a $1M per year brand. We started with low-hanging crystals, improving UI, but quickly powering on.

Sedona Crystal Vortex (SCV) is taking a bold next step toward becoming a $1M/year ecommerce brand. While their physical locations have flourished, the online store has lagged behind in performance.

They asked us to create a premium digital experience that aligns with leading metaphysical brands in their industry. They wanted to serve their loyal in-store customer base and cultivate a strong online following. Increasing online power was the goal, but a little extra foot traffic for tourists who visit the stores while they are visiting Sedona wouldn't hurt either.

We kicked off with a staged approach, starting with an overhaul of their current theme, Impulse. UI improvements were made quickly to recapture more sales and bring them into line with the current industry. Once the leak was dammed, we moved on to a full retheme project INCLUDING:

  • Restructured menus and navigation to improve the user journey.

  • Launched an exclusive online product collection.

  • Added a booking system for services or consultations.

  • Enhanced customer support with live chat (Shopify Inbox).

  • Increased Average Order Value using Rebuy Engine.

  • Consolidated their two existing Shopify instances into one.

  • Migrated from Mailchimp to Klaviyo for email marketing and utilize that platform and features.

  • Improved data utilization and segmentation for targeted marketing.
